About the company

Where exactly are your farms?
Our main growing fields sit on the highland slopes of Bukit Tinggi, Pahang — roughly an hour out of Kuala Lumpur. Our packing & logistics hub is at Lot 9, Jalan YTN 3, Industri Desa Aman, Kepong.
How long has Direct Farm been operating?
We were incorporated in January 2003 (originally as Idea Plus Sdn. Bhd.) and renamed to Direct Farm (Bukit Tinggi) Sdn. Bhd. in January 2024. We have been trading continuously for over 20 years.
Who is the company director?

Trade & orders

Do you deliver to my area?
We currently deliver across the Klang Valley, Genting Highlands, Penang and selected East Coast resorts. For homes outside these areas we partner with cold-chain couriers — get in touch with your postcode and we will check.
Can restaurants set up a daily standing order?
Yes — we work with hotels and restaurants on weekly menus and daily cut sheets. You will have one farm liaison and a single packing slip per delivery. See our Capabilities page for the three partnership tiers.
What's the minimum order?
Spot orders start at RM200 for trade. Family boxes start at RM75 per box. For standing orders or contract farming, we discuss volume-based pricing directly.
How quickly can you deliver?
For trade partners with a standing order, deliveries arrive within 24 hours of cut. For new spot orders, we ask for 48 hours notice. Same-day is occasionally possible — call to ask.

Quality & standards

Are your vegetables organic?
We use integrated pest management and have not used synthetic herbicides since 2019. Some lots are MyOrganic certified; others are grown to the same standards but not formally certified. Each crate is labelled clearly. See Quality & standards for details.
Can I get certification documents for an audit?
Yes — copies of MyGAP, MeSTI, Halal handling procedures and lot traceability records are available on request for trade partners. Contact us with the lot codes you need documented.
How do you ensure cold-chain integrity?
We maintain 4 °C end-to-end with logged set-points at every transfer — from packhouse to truck to your loading bay. If a temperature excursion occurs, we flag and replace the affected lot.

At home

How do I store the produce when it arrives?
Most leafy greens are happiest in the fridge crisper, loosely wrapped in a clean cloth. Roots keep best dry and in the dark. We include a one-pager with care notes in every weekly box. See more in From the Kitchen.
Do you offer farm visits?
We host small group visits during harvest months for trade partners and serious home cooks. Drop us a note and we will share the next available date.
Can I pause my family box subscription?
Yes — pause anytime by emailing us at least 48 hours before your next delivery. No fees, no fuss.
